What this prototype shows
- Special Orders with the new statuses (Backordered, Shipped from Vendor, Needs to be Shipped, Hold Until Complete).
- A dedicated Pillow Inserts board, auto-populated when an order is flagged as needing inserts.
- Storage location tagging (Basement / Next Door / Showroom) on stored items.
- Click any row to open a full item detail view with conversation thread.
What's not in this demo
- Real authentication and per-user permissions
- Persistence across browser refresh (data resets)
- Vendor email/SMS automations, Lightspeed sync, file uploads
- Working chat — messages shown are placeholders
All of the above is planned for the January production build.
